Hedge Trimming

Your hedges will be pruned with expertise and trimmed evenly, you can be sure they are in the best possible hands.

A well-maintained hedge provides a good, smart boundary to a garden, but if left unchecked, a hedge can soon lose its shape and end up casting unwanted shade. With a good pruning schedule, we can keep your hedges under control without too much trouble.

The Lady Gardeners use two-stroke hedge trimmers to do most hedges. The team will then bag all the clippings and take them away at the end of the job. Leaving you with a beautifully trimmed hedge and none of the tedious rubbish to clean up

Most New Zealand evergreen hedges like to be trimmed two or three times a year, while they're actively growing. Conifer hedges such as macrocarpa also need regular pruning or these fast-growers will soon outgrow their location. April May June before the spring growth and November December for after the spring growth and before you head away for your Christmas holiday.
